Today was a reading day, so I spent most of it in my office, working on a paper and studying for my Korean exam. (Yikes, that’s in nine and a half hours…)
However, I had time for fitness…twice! First, I ran 12 miles in the morning as my last “long-ish” run before the marathon next week.

Those miles were harder than I would have liked, but at the very least, I can say that they smack of consistency…
Later, Aileen and I attended the preview of Body Attack at the gym. Dan co-taught the class with one of the national instructors, so it was a lot of fun and very well-managed. I was a sweaty mess by the end, but I still had enough energy to be envious of the instructor’s rockin’ body.
Also, we got a photo with the instructors:
I was trying to make an intense workout face, but I ended up looking like a pirate.

Ew, you can see the sweat on my shirt.
HOW GROSS
did the lady on the right actually do the workout in those boots?! am I missing something?
nice! i’ve heard good things about body attack but the gym closed to me doesn’t offer it
enjoy your taper
